when I was fourteen or fifteen
together with my friend Leon
(to whom I herby dedicate this
tape) I climbed the highest point around: the Chimney
it took about four hours
it was exhausting and illegal
"High" is an album about how I climbed the 252 meters high chimney of the Wiskord Factory in Poland, when I was about 15 years old. The tapes are authentic cassettes made in the '80s in exactly the same factory I tress-passed (they're even called "wiskordówki" sometimes)
I recorded and mixed the music with that specific media in mind. All the tracks are EQed to suit the hissing and cracking of that retro-jewels (and please keep in mind the tape-noise may get up to 20-30% of the volume level)
The tapes got new design, but I decided to spare the original cover and include it in every order, so you can still have the collector's value of the untouched Wiskord-made-tape. The colors of tapes and plastic boxes varies and is chosen randomly.

lyrics
you shouldn’t take reality
for what it seems to be
shouldn’t take for granted
the things you can see
the river speaks the language
only she knows
the forest in the night
is an almighty god
it’s hard to ignore
it’s hard to ignore
don’t try to prove it wrong
don’t try to believe
the sparks between your thoughts
the light beams in your dreams
the trembling of your voice
when you’re falling in love
the void behind your eyes
when your love is gone
